Friends of Uplift is a non profit organization formed to support students, families, administrators, faculty, teachers and alumni of Uplift High School.
At Uplift, students are offered both AP and Dual Credit classes. AP classes allow students to earn college credit while still in high school, which means they can graduate with less debt and finish their degree faster. Dual Credit classes are also a great way to earn college credit, and they can help students get a head start on their college career.
With a diverse community demographic of being 58.3% Black, 24.0% Hispanic, 8.3% Asian, and 9.4% White. Students at Uplift come from neighborhoods all across the city, with 75% of families of low income households, 53% Diverse Learners, and 20% are Limited English Learners.
